The on-call substitute is a member of the school''s lower division and reports to the lower division head. This on-call, 10-month position comes with the responsibility of working with faculty and staff to support the school''s mission and curricular goals. Responsibilities Availability when needed, on campus during school hours (7:45 am - 3:45 pm) to fulfill any predetermined or as-needed coverage requirements Availability to respond to last-minute requests for coverage Collaborate with Divisional Administrative Assistants to fully understand, plan, and implement lesson plans while the teacher is absent Flexible to adapt to different classrooms and student needs Effective and respectful class management skills, an understanding of the social/emotional development of children, team-oriented, and exhibits an exceptional work ethic Additional opportunities to participate in other areas, such as athletic coaching or working within our After School Programs Establish and implement expectations for student safety, conduct, procedures, and routines consistent with Park School policies. Assess student performance and engagement, including academics, behavior, and social-emotional needs, while communicating directly with students, colleagues, and families both formally and informally when necessary Meaningfully integrate and supervise technologies into class lessons for student learning and growth Complete administrative tasks and coverage duties as assigned (student supervision, attendance, reporting, documenting curriculum, event/activity coverage, including lunch/recess duties , etc.) Utilize feedback and reflection to improve practice and performance Ensure that respect for diversity, equity, and inclusion, social-emotional learning, and academic excellence are emphasized as core values of The Park School. Job Description: The Admission Coordinator introduces the School to prospective international candidates and their families and collaborates with the Admission team to enroll a diverse group of well-matched students each year. It also requires a proactive self-starter who takes initiative and can prioritize tasks with minimal guidance. The Admission Coordinator is organized and detail-oriented, handling the demands of a fast-paced work environment. Candidates must be able to handle confidential material in a discreet manner. *This is a full or part-time position reporting to the director of admission and enrollment. Qualifications: A bachelor''s degree is required, and prior independent school admission experience is preferred. Candidates are expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading skills. Candidates should have the ability to exercise sound judgment and resolve problems quickly, creatively, and independently while collaborating with members of the Admission team, teaching faculty, and staff. Candidates should possess experience in managing and analyzing data, as well as strong research skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications is required.
