SYP's Admissions Team cordially invites you to attend a virtual Open House for prospective students and their families interested in exploring SYP's School for Neurodiversity. Please fill out this JotForm to RSVP: In the School for Neurodiversity, students with complex learning profiles receive one-on-one instruction attuned to their specific educational needs. Teachers are hand-selected based on their experience, special education training (particularly in the areas of Dyslexia, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder), a thorough understanding of the one-on-one framework, and a multi-modal approach to learning. Goals are set on the macro and micro level, and, in some cases, the focus is for 1 to 2 years of intervention with the intent of re-entry into mainstream learning upon successful completion. Whenever possible, small group and social activities with SYP students are incorporated into the schedule and curriculum (as a blended approach). The School for Neurodiversity also offers related services, such as occupational therapy, equine therapy and speech language therapy, and is deeply committed to helping its neurodiverse students achieve their academic aspirations!
