St. Titus School (Closed 2006)

528 West Main Street
Titusville, PA 16354
The primary purpose of a Catholic education at St. Titus School is to communicate Christ through religious and academic instruction.
We provide opportunities for each student to learn the good news of Jesus Christ and to develop an understanding of the nature of the Catholic church.
Each student is encouraged to develop an appreciation for our Catholic heritage, recognize the importance of a Catholic value system in daily life, integrate daily living with the Gospel message, and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Teachers at St. Titus are Christians who are directors of learning providing a productive atmosphere according to individual teaching styles and students needs.
Teachers are formally evaluated by a three-pronged evaluation process; initial assessment, observation form and evaluation form.
Basic criteria of assessment is provided by the Diocese of Erie.
Students are evaluated with regard to their own capabilities through daily work, exams, classroom performance and application of knowledge.
The IOWA test of Basic Skills is also a component of our student evaluation process.
St Titus School becomes the unique setting for students, teachers and parents in which faith becomes living, conscious and active through teaching, learning and serving.
