Alumni and former teachers. I always hoped to return to Odell and St. Paul's. My intention was to be their music teacher and take up where Sr. Ann Regina left off. I was going to teach piano. St. Paul's was a gift to that small farming community. We all appreciated it so much. We had an outstanding basic education. The negative reviews are by people who don't have a background in education. They whine about sports. So? In 5th grade, I was reading at a 10th grade level. No public kid was doing that. We were taught creative writing, and I have written two books. I applaud St. Paul's. Bravo! Well done! When people tell me false stories about the Saints, I correct them. "I went to St. Paul's, and I know better.".

It was alright but very limited athletic and extracurricular activities having to go to other schools for that was more difficult then necessary. I felt very limited in these ways. The education was good, but I felt like a outsider and most of my friends were in public school, they were nice and all, but after 2 years I went back to regular school. I have to give them at least a 3 1/2, they just don't have good facilities or labs and stuff like that and I wanted to be with my friends and be on their teams.
