Roseland Christian School has operated continuously in Roseland since 1884.
The School was founded by members of the Christian Reformed Church in North America.
The Christian Reformed Church is a Protestant denomination having a Calvinist theology.
Today, the school is open to children of various denominations whose parents exhibit a strong commitment for Christian Education.
The school is fully state accredited and all Roseland Christian School teachers are fully degreed in their field of teaching.
A survey conducted in the summer of 1995 indicated that over 70% of the past graduates successfully continued their education through the college level.
The students at Roseland Christian School have consistently met or exceeded the national target scores for the Iowa Basic Skills Test.
The affairs of the Society are conducted through its Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees consists of eighteen members who volunteer their time.
The Christian Parents and Teachers' Association is a branch of the Board of Trustees where parents actively take ownership of the school.
The purpose of Roseland Christian School is to work as partners with the Christian home and church in bringing our students up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
