If you are looking for a small, private school built on solid Biblical teaching and higher academic standards, look no further. This K-12 school prepares students for their future in a loving, family-like environment with a focus on learning and servant-leadership. P.C.S. offers academic, athletic, and fine art programs to help develop a well-rounded individual. P.C.S. also offers weekly Chapel and student activities to encourage growth in their Christian faith and testimony to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our kids made the decision to transfer from the public school to Portersville Christian when they were entering their 9th (daughter) and 10th (son) grades. We feel it was one of the greatest blessings our family has ever received. Not only did our children grow closer to The Lord while they attended PCS, but our entire family grew in faith and fellowship. We met so many families that shared our values and beliefs, which created such a special environment for us all. We were concerned that our kids may have to sacrifice a strong academic program by choosing a small Christian school, but we couldn't have been more wrong. Both our kids got into the colleges of their choice. Our son was able to start his freshman year in the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech with 21 (!!!) college credits that he acquired before graduation from PCS. Our children also reported feeling better prepared for the rigors of college classes than their public school peers. We strongly recommend PCS to anyone considering a Christian education for their family.

PCS has been such a great choice for our daughter! The teachers are so caring and communicate well with us. Our daughter has been challenged academically while getting a solid biblical foundation. She is currently in first grade and plans to send our other daughter to kindergarten in two years! I highly recommend scheduling a tour to visit. We are so blessed to call PCS home and be a part of the Warrior family!
