What an absolute gift Our Lady of Loreto Catholic School is to its students and families! The teachers here are amazing, and they bring an incredible amount of love to the school while surpassing curricular standards of the Archdiocese of Denver. Increasing math scores have become a goal at every grade level, especially this year with more time committed to teaching math in each grade. The students and parents are truly invested in academic achievement at all levels and faith formation in every subject. Our priest is very present in the school for weekly school Mass, confessions, adoration, and most social events celebrated around holidays. The school administration is welcoming to every family that enters the school, including my own why they know by our first names. I have great respect for the principal and assistant principal here who work tirelessly to make the school great, and who I''ve witnessed stay late after school hours to do so. When it comes to safety, I would say the school feels more safe than my own home - security locked doors at all entrances, cameras outside and inside, dozens of cement structures, shatter-proof glass, and monthly drills with the students for any emergency! There have also been some efforts by administration to enroll ELA students and students with special needs to our school, and although these goals are a work in process, I find it to be a true celebration of life that can be shared with my kids! After our family entered a waiting list with over a hundred other families to get in a few years ago, my children were finally able to be enrolled, and we intend on staying through 8th grade graduation before continuing to Catholic high school, hopefully Regis Jesuit. I believe the financial sacrifice to do so is completely worth every penny, and the Catholic culture here is beautiful to witness as a parent and it brings tears to my eyes. I can''t imagine being anywhere else, and I wish every family at our school the same joy we have here. Our Lady of Loreto, pray for us!
