About the School
- The Lansdowne Montessori School was established in 1980 by Donna Boswell.
- Donna received her degree from Hood College and her Montessori training from The London Montessori Center in London, England.
- She has over 30 years experience as a teacher, director, and owner.
- Our mission in education is to promote learning through a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect in a non-competitive atmosphere as we advance each child to self-reliance and independence.
- In doing so, we are fulfilling Dr. Montessori's philosophy of education: that each child is what the unseen adult will become.
