- Kulanu's student body is comprised of individuals with a wide range of diagnoses including Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Speech and Language Impairments, Cerebral Palsy, Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities and Genetic Disorders.
- In order to support the broad levels of our students, Kulanu offers a tailor made educational, vocational, and clinical program for each child.
- Kulanu`s curricula is applied to each child according to their specific needs and goals.
- Content covered range from Life Skills and Communication Development to NYS Regent Exam Preparation.
- All students are provided with social skill instruction and clinical therapeutic sessions, whether 1:1 or group, based upon their individual needs.
- Kulanu views the community as an extension of the classroom, and builds community integration and community-based vocational internships into their students` weekly schedules, thus preparing them to thrive in the world in which they live.
- Kulanu`s team of teachers, speech, occupational, and physical therapists, as well as social workers, mental health counselors, and behavior analysts are all certified/licensed in their respective fields.
