School Notes

  • At Central Christian Academy our goal is to teach and model God's eternal truths to our students.
  • We feel that the most important part of a child's academic and spiritual training is the teacher being a Living Curriculum for the student each and every day. Each teacher has a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • When the home, the local church and the Christian school work in unison, we can build young people for Christian Service.
  • A Christian philosophy of education first of all recognized God as the creator and sustainer of all things and as the source of all truth.
  • God has revealed Himself to mankind both through His creation in a general way and in a special way through His inspired, infallible, inherent, authoritative Word - the Bible.

We transferred out of a highly accredited public school system with a 1:30 student ratio. Our son is one of 12 7th graders, with a diversity ratio much larger than stated above and therefore richer. He has flourished academically, socially and spiritually in this wonderful yet tough academic setting. He is no longer a number, where you hope the teacher knows his name by mid-term. Despite very high expectations in all of his classes, he has risen to the occasion. He is involved in sports and has grown physically and in his walk with Christ. We held our yearly fundraiser this Saturday fully supported by the community and driven by the wonderful Julie Chandler. Every member of the staff never fails to encourage, praise and pray with any student, even if it's just a bad day. I am deeply saddened that 8th grade is our last year. If you live a Christ centered life, this is your home.
